Charles W. Bishop, Jr

Charles William Bishop, Jr, 71, of Summerville, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 .

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 1, 2017, in Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 1 o’clock. Burial will be private.

Mr. Bishop was born May 19, 1945, a son of the late Charles William Bishop, Sr. and Emma Chambless. He served in the U.S. Army. He retired as a Sergeant with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Department of Corrections, and he was a former paramedic with Charleston County EMS.

Mr. Bishop is survived by his daughters: Rebecca Warren (Craig) of Summerville, and Cynthia Morris (Barrett) of Ladson. One sister; Ruth Sisson of North Charleston, and nine grandchildren; Brandon, Elaina and Makayla Treadway, Taylor and Ashley Warren, Christian McClellan, Cari, Anna, and Wyatt Morris.
