Chelsie Nicole Spelich

Chelsie Nicole Spelich died unexpectedly at her home in Summerville, SC on Saturday, the 20th of April 2019. Chelsie, or Ci Ci, as she was also known, was 24 years old. She was born on July 29, 1994 in Boca Raton, FL.

Chelsie was a part time resident of Summerville, starting in 2007 when she was a student at Alston Middle School. She went back to West Palm Beach, FL, then to Warren, OH, where she finished her schooling. While in Summerville, she was a member of one of the Soccer teams sponsored by the YMCA. She was an outstanding soccer player, winning many awards, both in Summerville and West Palm Beach. Chelsie had only been back in Summerville for 10 days before her untimely death at her grandfather's and sister's home.

Chelsie is survived by her paternal grandfather, A.C. "Skip" Bauman, a 47 year resident of Summerville; and her sister, Elizabeth Faye Bauman, also of Summerville; her maternal grandmother, Darlene Spelich of Warren, OH; and two aunts, one in Warren, OH and one in West Palm Beach, FL.

A memorial service will be held in West Palm Beach later this week, and she will be buried next to her mother, Lisa Anne Spelich.
