Deborah Junelle Smith

Deborah Junelle Smith, 45, of Summerville, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.

The visitation will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Parks Funeral Home from 4 until 6 o’clock. The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 2 o’clock.

Deborah was born on Monday January 22, 1973 in Summerville, a daughter of the late James Washington Smith, Jr. and Ellen Junelle Dangerfield Smith. Deborah was a vibrant and energetic world traveler, avid sports fan, animal lover, Cyber Security Chief , low-country native, a dedicated and loving family member. A friend to everyone, she was a rock star.

Deborah is survived by her partner, Matthew D. Parker, of Summerville, brother; Larry J. Johnson of Summerville; sisters, Pheby R. Graham of Summerville and Vicki E. Canales of Moncks Corner; nieces, Ali L. Mitchell of Myrtle Beach, Maliah A. McDuff of Summerville, and Junelle Gray Johnson of Summerville; great nephews Behr A. McDuff and Ryan A. McDuff of Summerville; partner's mother, Mary M. Parker of Charlotte, NC.
