Jeffrey Keith Conklin

            Jeffrey Keith Conklin, 57, of Summerville, SC, husband of Stephanie Nowak Conklin, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Roper Hospice Cottage.

            The family will receive friends Monday evening, July 15, 2019 from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be Tuesday morning, July 16, 2019 at 11 o’clock at New Beginnings Community Church, 849 Fort Johnson Road, James Island, SC 29412.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Future Scholars of America for Lilah and Sarah Conklin, c/o Parks Funeral Home.

            Jeff was born February 1, 1962 in Charleston, SC, a son of Virgil Patman Conklin and Nancy Louise Cobb Conklin. He was a former Pastor at New Beginnings Community Church and involved in Martial Arts with a 3rd degree Black Belt. He loved music and was a bass guitarist. Jeff’s great loves of his life were his family and Jesus Christ.

            In addition to his wife, Stephanie Conklin of Summerville, SC, Jeff leaves behind his mother, Nancy Dougherty; and step-father, Joseph Dougherty, both of North Charleston, SC; his two daughters, Lilah G. Conklin and Sarah E. Conklin, both of Summerville, SC; two step-sons, Tyler Howerton of Summerville, SC and Christopher Howerton of New York, NY; and two brothers, Russell Conklin of Summerville, SC and Jack West of Sylva, NC.
