Katherine (Lightner) Williams

Katherine Lightner-Williams, 46, of Summerville, SC passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018.

Funeral Services will be Monday afternoon, December 31, 2018 in Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 2 o’clock. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 o’clock until the time of service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted.

Katherine was born July 2, 1972 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late Jack H. Lightner and Florence E. Dillingham Lightner. She worked as a Nurse and enjoyed fishing, camping, cross stitching, reading, journaling, drawing, and spending time with her family. She was also an avid Alabama football fan. Katherine was a devoted and loving mother and sister.

Katherine leaves behind her son, Joshua Williams of Summerville; daughter, Hannah Williams, also of Summerville; brothers, John Lightner and Eric Lightner, both of Summerville; and sisters, Jackie Terrell (Robert) of Ridgeville, Lisa Sharp (Danny) of Belton, and Anna Sharp (Jody) of Summerville; and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Florence Lightner.
