Lehre Daniel Dantzler

Lehre Daniel Dantzler, 88, of West Columbia, SC, widower of Virginia Ann Dantzler, passed away on Thursday morning, August 15, 2019.

The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 1 o’clock in Summerville Cemetery, 1020 Boone Hill Road, Summerville.

Lehre was born in Orangeburg, SC, on October 24, 1930, a son of the late Marvin Dantzler and Annie Murray Dantzler. Lehre was co-owner of the Price Brothers Appliance Store and a meter reader for the City of Columbia water company.

Lehre is survived by his son Danny Dantzler of Ridgeville; daughter Belinda Dantzler; four grandchildren, Trista Dantzler, Chris Dantzler, Rachael Dantzler, and Julie Nix; six great grandchildren, Kegan McNamara, Ella McNamara, Tripp O’Neal, Ansley Nix, Jamie Nix, and Olivia Dantzler. He is predeceased by his four siblings and grandson Robert Barret.
