Lelia (Player) Robinson

Lelia Player Robinson, 81, of Summerville, SC, wife of Karl J. Robinson, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday morning, January 11, 2018 at Summerville Baptist Church at 11 o’clock. A gathering of family and friends will be from 10 o’clock until the time of service at the church.

She was born September 1, 1936 in Andrews, SC the daughter of Daniel Early Player and Sarah Elizabeth McConnell Player. 

Lelia is survived by her husband Karl Robinson; one daughter, Angela Lynch Davis (Wayne); three sons, Andy Lynch (Diane), Jack Lynch, Jeff Lynch; two stepdaughters, Gwen Jones (Harry), Gloria Folk (William); seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers, Ronald Player (Nancy), Charles Player (Sharon), Perry Player (Jane); one sister, Christine Strickland (Tony); several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Lizzie Player; brothers, Dan Player (Victoria), Leonard Player; sisters, Joann Player Howard (Hayward), and Orene Player.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Transitions Hospice Care, 405 N. Magnolia Street, Summerville, SC 29483.
