Lillian Frances (Wirt) Sloan

Lillian Frances Wirt Sloan, 85, of Summerville, widow of Edgar William Sloan, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018.

The visitation will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 11 o’clock until service time at Heritage Holiness Church, 3836 Ladson Road, Ladson, SC 29456. The Funeral Service will follow in the church at 12 noon. Burial will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 in Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC at 10 o'clock.

Lillian was born on Wednesday, March 2, 1932 in Landstreet, West Virginia, a daughter of the late William Russel Wirt and Okley Oma Adams. Lillian was a member of Heritage Holiness Church.

Lillian is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Sloan of Ladson, and Okley Boyd of North Charleston; one sister, Freda Murray of Tampa FL; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Edgar; sons, Marvin and Michael Wirt; daughters Freda Jo McLendon and Lisa Sargeant; and sister Alma J. Ferrell.
