Marion Scott

Marion Scott, 94, of Summerville, SC, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018.

Memorial Services will be held at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday morning, January 16, 2018 at 11 o’clock. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 o’clock until time of service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made a local hospice of your choice.

Marion was born January 1, 1924 in Moncks Corner, SC, a son of the late Capers Kaswell Scott and Jo Ella Muckelvaney Scott. He was a US Navy veteran who served during World War II. He was a retired painter with civil service. 

He is survived by two sons, Donald “Tom” Scott (Myra) of Summerville, Kenneth Ray Scott of Lancaster, SC; two daughters, Frances Diane Yeoman (Stephen) of Cottageville, Janet Scott Hadaway (Michael) of Summerville; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Frances Ann Prince Scott and two sons, Billy Gardner Scott and Douglas “Red” Lewis Scott.
