Martin Tiller, Sr. Obituary

Martin Bradley Tiller, Sr., 97, of Summerville, SC, widower of the late Mary Frances Shaw Tiller, passed away November 14, 2018 at the Village at Summerville.

Memorial Services will be Monday morning, November 19, 2018 at 10 o'clock at the Village at Summerville. Family and friends will reassemble at Mayesville Black River Cemetery on Highway 76, Mayesville, SC at 3 o'clock for Graveside Services. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Village at Summerville, 201 W. 9th North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. 

Martin was born November 5, 1921 in Mayesville, SC, a son of the late Philip Murry Tiller and Mary Jeanette Corbett Tiller. He honorably served in the United States Army, was a WWII Veteran, and was a Clemson A & M College graduate, Class of 1943. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for South Carolina Electric & Gas for 35 years. 

Martin is survived by his son, Martin B. Tiller, Jr. and his wife Kathryn of Kershaw, SC; daughter, McKay Tiller Berry and her husband W.C. of Chesnee, SC; and a granddaughter, Kate Bradley Tiller of Charleston, SC.
