Muriel Mary Manzelli

Muriel Mary Manzelli, 92, of Summerville, widow of Vincent Ralph Manzelli, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018.

The funeral service will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Autism charity.

Muriel was born on Monday July 6, 1925 in Cheltenham England, a daughter of the late Frederick John Chick and Gladys Eggleton Chick.

Muriel, better known as “Chicky” (a nickname that evolved from her maiden name), was a kind, generous and fun-loving woman who was well loved by friends and family.  She moved to the United States after her 1964 marriage to Vincent in Cornwall, England and embraced her new country. She became a US citizen in 1992. Muriel was a member of the Princess of the Pines Red Hats.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Muriel is survived by her daughter Alessa Bertoluzzi and her husband Marvin Prine; granddaughter, Savannah Bertoluzzi and her boyfriend Blake Shavers; grandson Marshall Bertoluzzi; great granddaughter  Amelia Shavers.
