Rena Thomas Hageman, 73, of Green Cove Springs, FL, wife of Philip Jerry Hageman for 51 years, passed away June 16, 2018.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday afternoon, June 19, 2018 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville, SC. Visitation will be from 1 o'clock until the time of service, at 2 o'clock. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Rena's name may be made to the Clay County Humane Society, 2230 Filmore Street, Orange Park, FL 32065.
Rena was born August 2, 1944 in Orangeburg, SC, the daughter of the late Harry Edward Thomas and Mildred Virginia Jennings Thomas. She worked as a Human Resource Manager and Bookkeeper for power generation plants. She loved reading the Bible, the company of animals, especially dogs, and ceramics.
In addition to her husband, Philip Hageman of Green Cove Springs, FL, Rena leaves behind four daughters: Constance Hunt (David) of Summerville, SC; Kimberly Roumillat (Jack) of Manning, SC; Kathryn Mudger (Todd) of Lakeland, FL; and Karen Williamson of Franklin, TN. In addition, her brother, Charles Edward Thomas (Harriet) of Lexington, SC, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren survive. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Virginia Thomas, and a brother, Billy Ray Thomas, Sr.
