Roberta (Edenfield) Rush

Roberta E. Rush, 92, of Charleston, SC, widow of the late Hughes Rush, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018. 

Funeral Services will be held Sunday afternoon, August 12, 2018 at 2 o'clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 until the time of service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted. 

Roberta was born July 2, 1926 in Emanuel County, GA, a daughter of the late Mallard Edenfield and Beulah Hale Edenfield. She enjoyed reading, working in her garden, and going to craft fairs. She worked as a sales representative. 

Roberta leaves behind her daughters, Carol K. Bilbray (Narvie) of Summerville, SC, Sandra Engelman (David) of Charleston, SC, and Rose Marie Jones (J.R.) of Lithonia, GA; seven grandchildren, Tonya Shannon (John), Tim Bilbray (Mary), Shawn Engelman (Heather), Kristi Engelman (Richard), Nic Engelman, Greg Griffeth, and Barbara DeBriere; five great-grandchildren, Skye Browder, Shelby Griffeth, Liam Engelman, Andrew Engelman, and Lilly Bilbray; and two step great-grandaughters, Skye T. Searcy, and Tori Reeves. In addition to her parents and husband, Roberta was predeceased by a son, Robert Tyrone Kinard; grandson, Narvie Lee Bilbray, III; four sisters, Alice Roberson, Annie Lee Goodman, Dora Mae Mason, and Evelyn McDaniel; and two brothers, Cecil Edenfield, and Raburn Edenfield.
