Roberta "Robin" Phyllis (Wesinger) Shelley

Roberta “Robin” Phyllis Wesinger Shelley, 75, wife of Kenneth Fredrick Shelley, Jr., of Summerville, SC, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at her residence.

Memorial Services will be Saturday afternoon, March 3, 2018 in Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 1 o’clock. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of service in the chapel. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2090 Executive Hall Rd, # 130, Charleston, SC 29407.

Robin was born September 27, 1942 in Lexington, MA, a daughter of the late George Wesinger and Annie Dunbrack Wesinger. She was a homemaker, and loved horseback riding, dancing, and hand crafts. 

In addition to her husband, Kenneth “Kenny” Shelley of Summerville, Robin leaves behind two sons, Martin Lee Johnson of Spartanburg, and Bruce W. Johnson of Ladson; a daughter, Tamra “Tammy” L. Boan of Summerville; two sisters, Annmarie Fonetcchio of Boston, MA, and Joni Goodall of IA; many grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. She is predeceased by her parents; daughter, Bethann LaPoint; and granddaughter, Tinesha M. LaPoint.
