Roy Allen Traylor, Jr.

Roy Allen Traylor, Jr., 78, of Summerville, SC passed away Sunday, September 29th, 2019 at Trident Medical Center.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday afternoon, October 2, 2019 at Miler Country Club, 400 Country Club Blvd, Summerville at 5 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 174 East Bay Street, Suite 300, Charleston, SC 29401.

Roy was born January 12, 1941 in Atlanta, GA, a son of Roy Allen Traylor, Sr. and Carolyn Powers Traylor. He was a retired Physician. He loved playing golf, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his two sons, Roy A. Traylor, III (Elizabeth), Jeffrey M. Traylor (Kelley), all of Summerville; two sisters, Carol Woodall of Nashville, TN, Ann Stone of Valdosta, GA; and six grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Roy and Carolyn Traylor, Roy was predeceased by his wife, Loretta Watkins Traylor.
