Shirley Ann Bowers Aumen

Shirley Ann Bowers Aumen, 77, of Summerville, widow of Jerald Wayne Aumen, passed away on Saturday December 20, 2019. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28 at 1:00 pm at Crossroads Community Church in Summerville. 

Shirley was born on February 1, 1942 in Stateline, PA, a daughter of the late Vinal Snyder Bowers and Pauline Catherine Frock Bowers. She was an accounting clerk. Shirley lived out her faith in Jesus Christ and served faithfully in each church she attended during her life.  She loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed playing card games whenever the family gathered.  She loved cooking, especially for her family and enjoyed listening to music. Her greatest joy was having the family together for Sunday meals and then sitting around the pool or watching some football. 

She is survived by her sons, Wayne Aumen, Jr. (Tammy), Darrin Aumen (Cecilia); daughter, Dawn Aumen; daughter in law, Robby Aumen; grandchildren, Steven Duran (Gabby), Jerry Aumen, Daniel Aumen, Christopher Aumen (Rebecca), Matthew Aumen, Tyler Aumen, Jeffery Williams (Jessica), Kimberly Windham, Ryan Windham, and Ricki Hughes, as well as seven great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Jerald W. Aumen, Sr., son Randall D. Aumen, and her granddaughter- in- law, Lora Aumen.
