Virgil Leroy Fowler

Virgil Leroy Fowler, 76, of Summerville, SC, husband of Barbara Davis Fowler, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 4 until 6 PM at Parks Funeral Home. 

Virgil was born September 12, 1941 in Charleston, WV, a son of the late Virgil E. Fowler and Helen Grover Fowler. He honorably served in the US Army, and retired after 22 years as an Aircraft Mechanic with the US Air Force. 

In addition to his wife, Barbara Fowler of Summerville, SC, Virgil leaves behind his children, Michael L. Fowler (Pam) of Jacksonville, FL, and Tonya A. Fowler of Summerville, SC; grandsons, Chad Martin of Fort Stewart in GA, and Benjamin Martin of Summerville, SC; step-grandchildren, Brayden and Macie; sister-in-law, Arbutus Miller of Prosperity, SC; and his nieces and nephews.
