Adam Michael Marquez

Adam Michael Marquez, 33, of Summerville, SC, tragically lost his life on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at his residence.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, November 10, 2023 from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. A brief Prayer Service will begin at 7 o’clock in the parlor. Flowers will be accepted.

Adam was born December 20, 1989 in Smithtown, NY, the youngest son of Felix Marquez, Jr. and Nancy Marquez.

Adam was an amazing brother, loving father, a best friend, and such a kind and compassionate man. Words cannot describe the heartbreak that is felt for Adam’s family, friends, and his story. He never met a stranger and those who knew him can tell stories of what a fun and genuine soul he was. He had a contagious laugh, was positive, playful, and always encouraged everyone to rise up with him in the pursuit of peace and happiness.

In addition to his parents, Felix and Nancy Marquez who reside in Goose Creek, SC, Adam leaves behind his children, AlyJah and Azaria Marquez of N. Charleston, SC., partner, Amanda Lynn Vasquez of Hartford, CT; brothers, Christopher Cruzado, Brian Marquez, and sister Jennifer Cruzado; his dog, Alpha and bearded dragon, Astro.

Adam dedicated his life to his kids, his family, his dog, and his friendships. In his downtime from being a dedicated tow truck driver, he volunteered during storms and disasters as a rescue worker.

Adam will be greatly missed, but remembered by all who knew and loved him.
