Alison Vance Jones, 65, of Summerville, SC, wife of Rex Jones, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
Alison was born January 3, 1961 in Holyoke, MA, the daughter of the late Frank M. Vance and Muriel Anne Balthazar Vance. She worked in real estate and loved gardening, landscaping, home decor, and crocheting. She liked to socialize and supported her grandchildren at all of their sporting events.
In addition to her husband, Rex Jones of Summerville, SC, Alison leaves behind her daughters, Kimberly Thompson (Allen) of Braselton, GA and Brittany Alexis (Randy) of Dacula, GA; stepson, Adam Jones; stepdaughter, Ashley Sugarman; sisters, Amy Lane (Bruce) of Dawsonville, GA, Paula Savignano (Neil) of Buford, GA, and Sarah Stevens (David) of Talmo, GA; and grandchildren, Preston Thompson, Brielle Thompson, Darius Alexis, Skylar Alexis, Baby Alexis, Sheppard Sugarman, Hennie Sugarman, and Summit Jones.
