Anna M. London

Anna M. London, 93, of Summerville, SC, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at her residence.

Funeral Services will be Thursday afternoon, October 19, 2023 at 2 o’clock in Summerville Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow. Flowers will be accepted.

Anna was born June 14, 1930 in Salzburg, Austria, the daughter of the late Johann Kreuzberger and Anna Breitfuss. She was 8 years old when WWII began and was 15 when it ended. On July 3, 1952, she married James Daniel London. Anna was the Director of Housekeeping for the Presbyterian Home in Summerville for 30 years, and loved cooking, especially baking cookies. She enjoyed skiing in Salzburg, liked to plant seeds and plants, and feeding the birds. She truly cared about people and always tried to help.

Anna leaves behind her sons, John David London and Robert Bruce London; daughter, Linda Klein, all of Summerville, SC; brothers, Herman Kreuzberger and Alois Kreuzberger, both of Salzburg, Austria; cousin, Peter Andjelkovich of Chicage, IL; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a son, Jack Daniel London; a brother, Hansi “Johann” Kreuzberger; and a dear friend, Wallace Ackerman.
