Anthony O'Neil Scott

Anthony O’Neil Scott, 71, of Moncks Corner, SC, loving companion of Cindy M. Dickens, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday morning, August 26, 2025 at 11 o’clock at Maranatha Baptist Church, 453 N. Mano St., in Moncks Corner. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 o’clock until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Anthony’s name may be made to the church.

Anthony was born August 1, 1954 in Charleston, SC. He worked in transportation as a truck driver and also in construction. He loved singing along to George Jones, Summerville Speedway Racing, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs football fan.

He leaves behind his girlfriend, Cindy Dickens of Moncks Corner, SC; sons, Steven Scott, Sr. and Anthony Scott, Jr. both of Summerville, SC; daughters, Brenda Tumbleston (Kurt) of Summerville, SC and Tamra Scott (William) of Moncks Corner, SC; stepchildren, Melissa Kennedy of Moncks Corner, SC, and Tommy Kennedy of Summerville, SC; brothers, Elvis Sweat and Ricky Sweat both of Ridgeville, SC; sister, Patsy Hooker of Denver, CO; twenty two grandchildren; and twenty four greatgrandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Ben and Earline Scott; brother, Stanley Scott; sister, Paulette Scott; daughter, Crystal Scott; and a granddaughter, Baby Caroline.
