Betty Ewers Bally

Betty Brown Ewers Bally, 91, wife of the late Charles H. Bally, of Summerville, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

The relatives and friends of Betty Bally are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the graveside, Summerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday evening at Parks Funeral Home, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Flowers will be accepted.

Betty was born in McBee, South Carolina on February 19, 1930. She as the daughter of Raymond and Pauline Brown. She was an Eastern Star past Worthy Matron and a member of Stallsville Methodist Church Choir.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Deborah Ewers; grandchildren, Amanda Harmon, Alexander Melfi, III, Adam Harmon and Henry “Beau” Bryant; her great grandchildren, Alara Harmon, Evelyn Harmon, Jacob Harmon, Elias Harmon, John “Jack” Kramer, Ethan Montaney-Melfi, Racheal Melfi, Clayton Bryant, Lily Bryant and Seana Bryant Artz as well as a great great grandchild, Peyton Alexander. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Amos Dewitt “Pete” Ewers and Charles H. Bally; daughters, Diane Ewers Allen and Delaine Ewers; granddaughter, Anne Marie Melfi Kramer; grandson, Robert Allen; brothers, Raymond Brown, Jr. and Ralph Brown and her sister, Doris Brown Carr.
