Betty Freeman Obituary
Betty Freeman, 92, of Georgia passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026.
A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 11 o’clock at Cummings Chapel Cemetery, in Ridgeville, SC 29472.
Betty was born on June 1, 1933, to the late Adam and Julia Clayton. She was the youngest of nine siblings. For many years, Betty worked as an assistant director of nursing before continuing her long career at the Coastal Center, from which she eventually retired. After retirement, Betty moved to Brooklet, Georgia, to be closer to her family.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Terri Donaldson (Bill) of Brooklet, GA; grandchildren. David Martin of Brooklet, GA, Sharon Martin of Brooklet, GA; great-granddaughter, Cherokee Woods of Brooklet, GA; great-great grandchildren, Carter, Jack, and Ty. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Leonard Freeman.
