Betty (Murray) Gabrielli

Betty M. Gabrielli, 92, of Summerville, SC, widow of the late Gene Gabrielli, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 11 o’clock at Bethany United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be private. The family will receive friends from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock Friday evening at Parks Funeral Home. Betty was born December 14, 1930 in Summerville, SC, the daughter of the late Mouzon Murray and Marie Neal. She worked as a secretary, and loved to cook and play golf.

Survivors include her sons, Press Tompkins and his wife Diana of Greenville, TX, Doug Tompkins of Summerville, SC, and Rusty Tompkins and his wife Tanya of Ooltewah, TN; stepchildren, David Gabrielli and his wife, Jenny of Summerville, SC and Marilyn Gabrielli Lowndes of Charleston, SC; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Gene, Betty is predeceased by three stepdaughters, Carol Wright, Linda Glover, and Cheryl English; and a stepson, Chris Gabrielli.
