Bruce Saxman Obituary
Bruce Emery Saxman, 75, of Summerville passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 12 o’clock noon at St. Paul’s Summerville Anglican Doar Hall, 316 West Carolina Ave, Summerville, SC 29483. In honor of Bruce, memorials can be to Camp Happy Days, www.camphappydays.org, or MUSC Children Cancer Research, www.musckids.org.
Bruce was born on February 12, 1949 to the late Byron and Martha Saxman. During his lifetime, he loved going out on the boat, swimming, watching college football, and his bible studies. Bruce was known as a handyman and was always willing to help anyone in need. He also was a part of the John’s Island CHIP program for many years. Most importantly, Bruce loved his family, but had a special bond with his grandchildren.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of many years, Patricia C. Saxman of Summerville, SC; son, Bruce P. Saxman of Durango, CO; daughter, Lisa M. Cates of Charleston, SC; brother, Ron Saxman of Los Angeles, CA; along with 2 grandchildren.
