Carl Raymond Ramsey

Carl Raymond Ramsey, 75, of Summerville, SC, loving husband of Deborah S. Ferguson Ramsey, both formerly of Gambrills, MD, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday afternoon, June 22, 2024 at 237 Silver Cypress Circle, Summerville, SC 29485. The family will receive friends from 1 o’clock until 4 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carl’s name may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306. The family will have a Memorial Service at Heritage Community Church, 8146 Quarterfield Rd, Severn, MD 21144 on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 11 o'clock until 1 o'clock. 

Carl was born August 16, 1948 in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Raymond and Eleanor Ramsey. He made a career in banking, working as the manager of Tower Federal Credit Union. Carl’s favorite pastimes were going to the beach, boating, cruising, and watching baseball.

In addition to his wife, Deborah Ramsey of Summerville, SC, Carl leaves behind his son, Matthew Ramsey and his wife Catherine of Millersville, MD; sister, Patricia Lobaugh and her husband Thomas of Highland Beach, FL; and grandchildren, Darren Graham of Arnold, MD, and Isabella and Gabriella Ramsey, both of Millersville, MD. Carl was predeceased by his parents; a daughter, Shelly Graham; and a sister, Kathy Raffetto.
