Carol Starnes Bewersdorf

Carol Ann Starnes Bewersdorf, 79, of Ladson, SC, passed away peacefully Monday, February 2, 2026 at her residence.

Graveside Services will be Friday afternoon, February 6, 2026 at 3:30 PM in Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carol’s name may be made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 206 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483.

Carol was born December 19, 1946 in Charlotte, NC, a daughter of the late James Leon Starnes and Erika Elizabeth Dahlmann Starnes. She worked as a Registered Cosmetologist in Ladson, SC for many years.

Carol leaves behind her son, John W. Bewersdorf (Cathy) of Summerville, SC; daughter, Natascha A. Foote (Chris) of Counce, TN; brother, Wayne Starnes of Lutz, FL; sister, Karen Benner (Robert) of Wesley Chapel, FL; granddaughter, Miranda Langdale (Will) of Summerville, SC; grandson, Dylan Foote of Counce, TN, and great-granddaughter, Tegan Langdale. She is predeceased by her mother and father, brother Richard Starnes, and son, Jorg Bewersdorf, Jr.
