Catherine Helms Obituary
Catherine A. Helms, 73, of Ladson, SC, loving wife of Paul G. Helms, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 1 o’clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. The rite of committal will follow in Summerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 o’clock until the time of service in the Chapel. Flowers are accepted.
Catherine was born September 20, 1950 in Rantoul, IL, the daughter of the late George William Dudley and Jean Marie Anderson Dudley. She was a Registered Nurse and taught nursing, continuing to keep current in the medical field after having retired for many years. She loved listening to music, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Paul, of Ladson, SC, Catherine leaves behind her son, Chris Helms of Goose Creek, SC; her daughter, Tammy Bentley of Charleston, SC; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by all that knew her.
