Charles Eberle II, age 92, of Summerville passed away on March 8, 2021.
Charles was born in St. Louis on March 20, 1928. He was the son of Charles and Hazel Eberle.
He is survived by his wife; Bonnie, son, Charlie; and daughters Julia and CiCi; stepdaughter Kim Doce and his sister Susan Thomason, as well as 7 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Mary Latimer.
Charles was a lifelong fishing enthusiast and fished in Belize 45 times. He was an avid reader of military history. He was very active in civic affairs including the YMCA Board, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Board and participated in 3 church mission trips. He was a member of Old Fort Baptist Church.
He attended Western Military Academy and graduated from Western University it St. Louis. He served in the US Army Corp of Engineers in the Philippines during the Korean War. Charles began his business career in 1946 at Procter and Gamble retiring as a vice president after 36 years. Later he worked for James River Corp. and started his own consulting firm. In 2016, he moved with his wife to Summerville to retire.

There will be a Graveside Memorial Service held in Richmond, Virginia on Thursday, March 11, 2021.
