Charles Jones

Charles "Charlie " Jones, 90, of Summerville, SC passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021.

He will always be remembered for his kindness, gentleness, patience and generosity. His grandchildren remarked that they never saw him get angry or short tempered with anyone. He usually had snacks and gifts at the ready, along with a sly joke and a smooth, peaceful vibe. He was almost always the coolest guy in the room. He had many a classic line. When asked how he was doing, he would give a little grin, chuckle and reply, "pretty good for an old guy. " That was him: all good, all smiles, and always more concerned about you than himself. He lived an amazing life and set an incredible example.

He is survived by his loving children, Rex Jones (Alison) and JeNae Katsanis (Ward); his grandchildren Ashley, Adam, Taylor, Kaley and Alex; his great grandchildren; and many dear friends. Charles was predeceased by his wife Faye Hansley Jones; his beloved parents Rex and Lilly Jones and five precious sisters: Annie Mae, Hazel, Marie, Louise and Helen.
