Charles Franklin Jones, Jr., 68, beloved husband of Debra K. Jones, of Ladson, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. Chuck was born in Galion, Ohio, on March 24, 1953. He was the son of Charles and Gloria Jones. He graduated from Galion High School in 1971 and then from Bowling Green State University in 1975, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. He was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, and an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Chuck was an intelligent and hardworking man. He began his career in marketing and worked for Hill-Rom for many years. He also worked as an insurance agent, and he worked in radio advertising as a commercial voice-over. At one time he owned a tanning salon, and he also owned a karaoke business with his best friend, Jake. Chuck finished his career with Mattress Firm, which he loved. He was often the first person to arrive at the store in the morning and the last to leave in the evening. Chuck was a devoted husband to his loving wife Debra, who cherished him deeply. He was also a loving father and grandfather. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, golfing, riding his motorcycle, boating, archery, and skiing. He also loved to sing and play the piano, and he enjoyed dancing with his wife Debra. Chuck was a beautiful soul who would always light up a room, and he was loved by all who met him. He will be deeply missed by his wife Debra, his family, and countless friends. Chuck is survived by his wife, Debra Jones; his mother, Gloria; his daughter, Lynsay and her husband Kevin; his grandchildren, Anna Kate, Christopher, and Caroline and his sister, Rinda and her husband James. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Jones, Sr.
