Christian George Wright, Jr.

Christian George Wright, Jr., 20, of Ladson, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023.

The relatives and friends of Christian Wright, Jr. are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Heritage Holiness Church, 3869 Ladson Road, Ladson, SC 29456. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday at the church.

Christian was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on November 3, 2002. He was the son of Summer Walsh and Christian George Wright, Sr. Christian was a beautiful soul who was always smiling and laughing, and brought joy to everyone around him. A gentle giant, he was truly his mother’s saving grace and her rock. Christian loved to dance, draw and rap, but most of all, he loved spending time with his brothers whom he loved with all his heart. He was also a certified fork lift driver which he loved as well. CJ- You made me a father. You are my first-born son. You motivated me to try to become a better man and father. We may not have always seen eye to eye, but I have always loved and wanted the best for you. In the right order of things, you’re supposed to be burying me, but I take peace in knowing that God loves you best and he needed you more than us. I love you son, until we meet again.

Christian is survived by his parents, Summer Walsh and Christian G. Wright, Sr.; his brothers, Cordelle Wright (Angelique Daino), Javiell Nieves and Tristin Wright; his grandparents, Kim Walsh and Carlretta P. Wright; his uncle, Shawn Walsh; his aunts, Kimberly W. Dixon and Shaun W. Nelson; cousins, Kayla Walsh, Katlyn Walsh, Shawn Walsh, Jr., little Summer Walsh, Kamryn Dixon and Olivia Nelson and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delores Turknett and her husband, Gene Turknett and Abraham G. Wright, Jr.; great grandparents, Cathy and Louis Willis; great aunt and uncle, Billy and Debbie Willis and his great uncle, Norman Powell.
