Christina M Zahalka

Christina M. Zahalka, 65, of Summerville, SC, loving wife of Ron Zahalka, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

The relatives and friends of Christina are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11 AM, Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, 130 W. 1st North St., Summerville, SC 29483. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Christina was born November 15, 1958 in Elmhurst, IL. She was the daughter of Homer and Mary Gehrett.

Christina loved a good jigsaw puzzle and the challenge of putting them together. She also loved being out on the lanai at her house and enjoying the sights and sounds.

Tina, as she was known by her family, leaves behind her husband, Ronald Zahalka; her son, Michael Zahalka; sisters, Barbara Moore, Janie Swenson and Patti Gehrett; and her brother, Richard Gehrett. She was predeceased by her parents, Homer and Mary Gehrett; and her brother, Michael Gehrett.
