Christine D. Green, 80, of Summerville, SC passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at her residence.
Graveside Services will be Friday afternoon, October 10, 2025 at 2 o’clock in Summerville Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, www.gentivahsp.com.
Christine was born February 24, 1945 in Summerville, SC, the daughter of the late Elias Andrew Driggers and Christine Oliver Driggers. She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, singing “You Are My Sunshine” to them, and watching her grandsons play baseball. She loved her dogs, playing the piano, and watching John Wick movies and crime documentaries. Christine was an avid Atlanta Braves fan.
She leaves behind her son, Cliff Green (Shidawn) of Walterboro, SC; daughter, Michele Mellott of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Christopher Clark (Amanda), Miranda Clark (Eric), Hunter Mellott, Tiffany Adcox (Paul), Bryan Sartin (Melissa), Bradley Ellis, Diego Carter, and Deianeira Carter; and great-grandchildren, Wrenleigh, Hudson, Bentley, Hayden, Remington, Weston, Emmerson, Canaan, Elijah, and Blake. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Roy Green, Jr.; sister, Mary Alice Driggers; and brothers, Carl Driggers, Bobby Driggers, Don Driggers, Buddy Driggers, Elias Driggers, and Harold Driggers.
