Clarence Aaron Clark, Jr., 77, of Summerville, SC, husband of Donna Dianne Matthew Clark, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021.
Funeral Services will be Monday afternoon, January 11, 2021 at 2 o’clock at Heritage Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Dorchester Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 o’clock noon until the time of service. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials in his name may be made to Heritage Holiness Church, 3836 Ladson Road, Ladson, SC 29456.
Due to COVID19, everyone in attendance is required to have a temperature check at the door and practice social distancing. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
Clarence was born June 16, 1943 in Dorchester, SC, a son of the late Clarence Aaron Clark, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Tumbleston Clark. He worked for the Department of Corrections and honorably served in the Army National Guard. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and man of God.
In addition to his wife, Dianne Clark, Clarence leaves behind his son, Clarence Aaron Clark, III (Somer); daughters, Penny McNeil, Crystal Godin, and Cheryl Clark; step-sons, John Nicholson and Michael Nicholson, all of Summerville, SC; sisters, Betty Millwood, Gayle Ard (Johnny), Martha Willis, all of Summerville, Mary Zayas (Manny) of N. Charleston; step-sisters, Thomas Jean Dangerfield, Susan Crosby, both of Summerville, SC, and Vivian Livernash of FL; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lena Mae Smith Clark.
