Curtis Douglas Proveaux, 60, of Cottageville passed away peacefully on Monday, June 6, 2022.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 10 o'clock at Limestone Baptist Church Cemetery, 1890 E Main St, Dorchester, SC 29437. The family will receive friends the night before from 6 o'clock to 8 o'clock at Parks Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted.

Curtis was born on September 10, 1961 in Summerville, SC. He is the son of the late Vincent H. Proveaux and Nell Crowder. Curtis enjoyed hunting, fishing, antiquing, and gardening.

Curtis is survived by his wife, Tracey Proveaux of Cottageville, SC; daughters, Lacosta Proveaux (Lee Stokes) of Summerville, SC, Loftin Proveaux of Goose Creek, SC; step-daughter, Luchanna Paige (Kevin Paige) of Harleyville, SC; brothers, Robert Proveaux of Summerville, SC, Billy Humphries of Kershaw, SC; sister, Geneva Key (John Key) of Cassatt, SC; and 7 grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Vincent Proveaux and Nell Crowder.
