Daniel Edward Bellanger Jr., 36, husband of Caireese Bellanger, of Ladson, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
Danny was born on September 3, 1987 in Portland, Oregon. He is the son of Dan Bellanger and Susan Rae Bellanger.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Caireese Bellanger, and three children– Pruett Bellanger, Jaxson Bellanger, and step-daughter, Piper Deaton. He is forever remembered by his step-siblings, Donald Richards III and Daina Solomon; his uncle, Ed Bellanger, and cousins Olivia, Tabitha, and Angela. He is also survived by Jameson Perry, Krista Bacon and Lori Thompson. Danny is preceded in death by his father, Dan Bellanger; grandmother, Mary Lou Bellanger and aunt, Carol Berhorst.
Danny was raised in Portland, Oregon and graduated from Franklin High School in 2005. After enlisting in the United States Navy in 2009, he excelled rapidly– his tenacity and intelligence earning him Chief after 6 years of service. During service, he was stationed in South Carolina where he met his soulmate, Caireese. Danny and Caireese married on February 5, 2018 and the two welcomed their daughter, Pruett, in November 2018–providing his son Jaxson and step-daughter Piper with a sister. Danny was an advocate for his children’s education and extracurriculars. There was no denying his love of watching and playing sports– his Oregon Ducks jersey was laid out before every game. His presence, infectious and bold personality, and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Memories of his love for his career, family, and friends will leave a lasting imprint on our hearts. May our hearts rest in peace and allow the love Danny had for us all to anchor our soul.
