Danny Jett

Danny Jett, 74, husband of Mary Ann Jett, of Summerville, SC (formerly of Woodbridge, VA) entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, July 28, 2022.

Danny was born in Jackson, Kentucky, on December 21, 1947 to Sam and Eunice Jett. He met the love of his life and soulmate as a freshman in high school and married her 4 years later. They were married for 55 years and together for 60, just missing their 56th Wedding Anniversary by a week and a half coming up on August 8th. He was always reinventing himself in the work place beginning as an apprentice barber in his parents locally owned barber shop. He then moved to New York Life insurance and finished his working career at USAA insurance.

Even in retirement he enjoyed learning new things and became a skilled butcher. After being an avid angler and hunter throughout his younger years this new mini career peaked his interest tremendously which then fed into his passion for cooking. Danny was a very proud father, grandfather and great- grandfather and was always in awe of the family he and Mary Ann had created.

Danny is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary Ann (SanLuis), his 2 daughters Michelle (Jett) Howsmon (Tom), Noelle (Jett) Kouznetsova (Serguei) and his son, Daniel (Becky), 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family members across the globe. Danny was predeceased by his parents, Sam and Eunice Jett.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Seacoast Church in Summerville. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a favorite charity you are passionate about in Danny's name.
