David Leon Carter, 55, of North Charleston, SC, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
Graveside Services were private in Summerville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in David’s name be made to any Veteran’s charity of your choice.
David was born November 12, 1968 in Richmond, VA. He grew up in Powhatan, VA and was a 1987 high school graduate from Midlothian High School in VA. In 1991, he graduated Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. He honorably served as a Marine Corp Officer, loved all sports, especially football, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. David liked to play ice hockey, basketball, football, and baseball. He made his career as a Financial Planner at LPL Financial and was the owner of Financial Peace Management, LLC.
Survivors include his father, Eddie Carter (Joann) of WV; sons, Noah R. Carter and Christian R. Carter of Summerville, SC; and sisters, Corinne Campbell of VA and Linda Carter of FL. He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia Carter formerly of VA.
