Deborah Minchak Obituary
Deborah Kay Minchak, 70, of Ladson, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
In honor of Deborah, memorials can be made to the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, 86 Jonathan Lucas Street, Charleston, SC 29425.
Deborah was born on November 15, 1953 to the late Francis and Elizabeth Riggins. During her lifetime she did many things. When Deborah was around 20 years old, she married the love of her life Andy Minchak. They spent 50 wonderful years together growing a family and making memories that would last a lifetime. She also had a career as an office admin. Deborah loved being outside gardening, relaxing at the beach, and going shopping at Catos and Homegoods. Her and her husband spent a lot of time at the beach collecting seashells, which was one of her favorite things to do. Deborah enjoyed the simple things in life, especially a bubble bath and a glass of wine. She loved her family and her three dogs; Riley, Nelson, and Lexi.
Deborah is survived by her loving husband, Andy Minchak of Ladson, SC; son, Justin Minchak (Jessica) of West Chester, PA; brother, Ted Riggins (Jean) of Norristown, PA; granddaughter, Kaelyn Minchak of West Chester, PA; grandson, Tanner Minchak of West Chester, PA; dogs, Riley, Nelson, And Lexi. She is predeceased by her sister, Pat Walters; granddaughter, Aliza Minchak; and grandson, Finley Minchak.
