Deborah (Hill) Myatt

Deborah Hill Myatt, 70, wife of Ernest Myatt Jr., of Summerville, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023.

The relatives and friends of Deborah Myatt are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Crossroads Community Church, 505 Gahagan Road, Summerville, SC 29485. The family will receive friends from 12:15 until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, please make all donations to Crossroads Community Church, Summerville.

Deborah was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina, on December 19, 1952. She was the daughter of Kermit and Joyce Hill. She loved traveling, reading, sitting on the beach and spending time with her daughter and three grandsons, who were her pride and joy. She spent over 20 years working as a librarian in Mecklenburg County. She later found joy in teaching and tutoring children, which she did until retirement. She loved the Lord with her whole heart and is now rejoicing with the angels in His presence.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest Myatt Jr. of Summerville, SC; daughter, Alison Warren (Patrick) of Summerville, SC and her three grandsons, Landon (6), Declan (4) and Easton (2) Warren. She is also survived by her siblings, Dianne Young (Bill), Phillip Hill (Linda), Joy Campbell (Daryl), Rebecca Bailey (Mark); her Aunt Shirley (Hunter) Brown, as well as a multitude of cousins, nieces and nephews. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit Hill in 1964 and Joyce Routh in 1995.
