Dell Pye Obituary
Dell Rose Farrell Pye, 82, of Summerville, SC, widow of the late George Pye, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
Funeral Services will be Saturday morning, May 10, 2025 at 11 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home in the Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10 o’clock until the time of service in the Parlor. Burial will be Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 12 o’clock in the St. Lawrence Cemetery, Charleston.
Dell Rose was born May 6, 1943 in Nashville, TN, a daughter of the late Charles Elvis Farrell and Katie Bell Stafford Farrell. She was affectionately known to those who loved her as “Nana” or Sugar.” She retired from Bosch and loved her family, friends, and dogs Bella and Blondell. Her grandsons were always her #1.She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, shopping, listening to music, watching football and basketball, and dancing with her husband of over 50 years, George, the love of her life.
She leaves behind her son, Timothy Pye and his wife Rachael of Summerville, SC; sister, Sylesia McCart and her husband Steve of Rock Hill, SC; and her two grandchildren, Tristan Pye and Trevor Pye. In addition to her husband, George, and her parents, Charles and Katie Farrell, she is predeceased by her brother, Kene Farrell; and her sister, Kay Baker.
Flowers are accepted or memorials in her name may be made to a charity of choice.
