Diana Kay Bush

Diana Kay Bush, 74, wife of R. Alan Bush, of Summerville, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023.

The relatives and friends of Diana Bush are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Summerbrook Church, 676 Orangeburg Road, Summerville, SC 29483. Burial will follow in Dorchester Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church.

Diana was born in Danville, Illinois on January 14, 1949. She was the daughter of Freeman and Wilna Parks.  She was a dedicated office manager for over 20 years. Diana cherished her family and church family and was thankful for all the wonderful friends she made there. She dedicated her time and talents in cooking and baking for others. She loved decorating for various church events but especially the Christmas season. Diana enjoyed spending time walking on the beach with her husband and her dog, Marci.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. R. Alan Bush; her daughters, Traci Smith (James), Mylinda DuRouseau (Phillip); her grandkids, Kayli Bates (Tyler), Tyler Lattimore, Jessica Simmons (Tripp), Savannah Lipsky (Andrew), Phillip DuRousseau Jr. and Adalan DuRousseau, as well as 5 great-grandkids and 7nieces and nephews.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents Freeman and Wilna Parks and her brothers, Pete, Ronnie, and Glenn.
