Diane Lois Knecht

Diane Lois Knecht, 74, of Summerville, wife of Donald Knecht, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021.

The relatives and friends of Diane Knecht are invited to attend her Memorial Service at 3:00 PM, Friday, May 28, 2021, at Grace Lutheran Church, 1600 Old Trolley Road, Summerville, SC 29485.

Diane was born on April 6, 1947 in Paxton, IL. She was the daughter of Harold F. Lietz and Meta M. Rissman Lietz. She loved spending time with her family, and doing crafts like making jewelry. She was also a NASCAR enthusiast, an avid reader, and loved animals.

She leaves behind her sons; Deon Knecht (Daniela), of Charleston, SC, and Darron Knecht of Summerville, SC; her daughters, Dawn Bailey (Mickey), of Summerville, SC, and Debi Everidge (Joey), of Mount Pleasant, SC, and her sister; Sandy Derer (Jim), of Hoschton, GA. She also leaves behind her eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
