Doris Tindall Maddox

Doris Tindall Maddox, 85, of Summerville, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. The relatives and friends of Doris Maddox are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Entombment will follow in Summerville Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Memorial donations may be made to Summerville Baptist Church Kingdom Come Fund. Doris was born in Conway, South Carolina, on June 27, 1938. She was the daughter of James and Grace Tindall. She loved the Lord and her ladies class at Summerville Baptist Church. Doris loved gardening and could often be found working in her yard. Doris was so proud of her grandson Tyler and he was truly the light in her life. She and her late husband, Wayne, loved to travel and took many trips together. Doris was a dear friend to many and will be greatly missed. Doris is survived by her daughter, Jamie Maddox Collier; her great-granddaughter, Bristol Raelynn Collier; her sister, Nora Tindall Martin as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wayne Maddox; grandson, William Tyler Collier; brother, James Virlyn Tindall and her sisters, Grace Tindall Smith and Miriam Tindall Sellers.
