Elizabeth (Brasington) Hess

Elizabeth B. Hess, 85, of Summerville, widow of John W. Hess, Jr. passed away Tuesday, January, 30, 2018.

A visitation will be held on Friday February 2, 2018 in Parks Funeral home from 2 pm until service time. The funeral service will follow in Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 3 pm. Burial will be in Summerville Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 10360 Hwy 78E, Summerville, SC 29483.

Elizabeth was born on June 28, 1932 in Orangeburg, SC, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Brasington and Bessie Marie Smoak Brasington. Elizabeth was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. 

Elizabeth is survived by sons, Kenneth Judy (Linda), Jimmy Judy of Summerville, and Robert Judy (Melissa) of Chapin; daughters, Donna S. Payne (David) of Manning, and Helen Hite of Summerville; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brothers, George, Odell, and Furman Brasington; sister, Reba Kieagler.
