Erma Louise Hickman

Erma Louise Hickman, 84, of Ladson passed away peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2023.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 2 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. The family will receive friends for a visitation an hour before the service. Burial will follow at Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 2168 Ridge Church Road, Summerville, SC 29483. Flowers are accepted.

Erma was born on August 9, 1939 in Charleston, SC to the late Thurman and Louise Garvin. She has been a lifetime member of Ridge Baptist Church. Erma was a former employee of K-Mart, Edwards Five & Dime Store, and Goose Creek Amoco. She will be missed dearly by many.

Erma is survived by her son, Charles W. Beaudrot, Jr. of Ladson, SC; brothers, Thurman W. Garvin, Jr. of Granitville, SC, William W. Garvin of Moncks Corner, SC, Sammy W. Garvin of Jedburg, SC; sister, Vivian Linder of Smoaks, SC; along with 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, Thurman and Louise Garvin; 1st husband, Charles W. Beaudrot, Sr.; 2nd Husband, John E. Hickman; son, Joseph L. Beaudrot.
