Eza Qhawe Banathi Matsheke, 18, of Summerville, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service at 11:30 AM, Friday, July 26, 2024, at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Eza was born in Durban, South Africa on June 5, 2006. She was the daughter of Masande Siyakudumisa Matsheke and Andiswa Matsheke (née Qaba).
Eza was a lively and bright spirit who showed her personality through laughter and excitement, which she so openly shared with her loved ones. She loved listening to music, loved a good dance party and enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Her beautiful smile could brighten up any room and her joy was infectious. She was not quick to anger and kept us entertained with little tricks that could uplift anyone’s day. Eza was not one to easily forget a name or a face.
We thank God for Eza’s life. We thank God for showing us his power and draw strength from how He showed himself through Eza. May she always remain in our hearts, her beautiful soul rest peacefully, and rise in glory.
Eza is survived by her mother, Andiswa; her father, Masande; her brother, Thandwa and her sister Lulo.
