Franklin Danny Walton

Franklin D Walton, 80, of North Charleston, SC, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021.

A Memorial Service will be starting at 1 o’clock Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel.

Franklin was born August 2, 1941 in Lancaster, SC. He was the son of Purgle Roy Walton and Julia Turner Walton. He was a Navy Veteran who served on three tours in the Vietnam War. Franklin loved fishing, and working in his garage. All of his neighbors and friends were always stopping by to see him. Most importantly Franklin loved spending time with his family, especially all of the babies. 

Franklin is survived by his wife, Hilda Pardue Walton of North Charleston, SC; son, Gregory Scott Walton (Judy); daughters, Sharon L. Hunter of Ladson, SC, Susan Hunter McCabe (Jay) of Summerville, SC; sister, Thelma Walton of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Brandy Hunter Smith (Brent), Laine Walden (Josh), Austin McCabe, Brandon Walton (Lindsey), and Abigail Hunter. He also has 6 great-grandchildren. Franklin is predeceased by Kevin Todd Walton (Jeannie), and Jerry “Buddy” Hunter.
