Freddie Dean Standrich, RET MCPO, USN, 83, of North Charleston, SC, widower of the late Takeko Standrich, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026.
The Funeral Mass will be Saturday morning, January 24, 2026 at 9 o’clock at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Friday evening at Parks Funeral Home from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Freddie was born August 10, 1942 in Anthony, KS, the son of the late Clarence Ray Standrich and Myrtle Estella Herndon Standrich. He worked as a Systems Engineer and honorably served in and retired from the United States Navy. He also served on Ronald P. Anderson Council 8900 and Knights of Columbus, St. Francis Caracciolo Assembly 3697, and was an active volunteer for the church.
Freddie leaves behind his daughters, Christina O’Leary (John) of Temple, GA and Erica Eltringham (Jim) of Centreville, VA; and his grandchildren, Victoria Standrich (Derrik Logan) of Douglasville, GA, Maya Eltringham and Lily Eltringham, both of Centreville, VA.
